om namo bhagavate vasudevaya namo narasimhayadi-devaya sarva- loka-paramaya narayanaya nitya-sannihita-samprapya-sakti-bala- virya-tejo-vibhavaya maha-rajata-parvata-prakasa-vapuse brhat- kesara-sataya vicva-pradesabhyunnata-tamra-ruci-visphurjita- prabha-hema-varnaya. . . .

Obeisances to Lord Nrsimha, the all-pervaing Supreme Personality or Godhead, supreme in all the worlds, the resting- place or all living beings, eternally glorious with strength, power, heroism, and splendor, splendid like a great silver mountain, splendid with a great mane, splendid with a ruddy golden glory that rills the universe, . . .

kutila-lalataya sata-hradavarta-dipta-viksipyamanesu

galaya jvalad-anala-lola-pinga-vrtta-diptaksaya sphuta-

cipita-dhamani-saha-pura-vibhisana-prana-vamsaya . . .

. . . on His rorehead eyebrows whose knitting removes all troubles and obstacles rrom His surrendered devotees, His neck splendid like a hundred whirlpools, His restless, glistening, red eyes two blazing rires, His short neck the city where His rrightening breath resides, . . .

candrakarostha-puta-vinirgata-bhrajamanati-tiksna-sita-mahogra-

damstra-sarvasyavasamagama-ksobha-sani-sahasravapatambuda-vrata-

garjitati-bhima-ninadaya muhur-muhur-vyapta-bhimardha-vada-

nadesa-drcyamana-suddhi-sikhara-dasana-pankti-tara-vibhasvara-

sandhyanuranjita-nabha-sthala-prakasa-vapuse . . .

. . . His cheeks splendid, His lips rising moons, His sharp, white, rearsome teeth glistening, His rrightening roar a thousand thunderbolts rrom slowly moving clouds, as He roars His sharp teeth glistening like stars in the sky at sunset, . . .

bhavamsa-kuta-skanda-madhya-desa-supratisthita-pina-vrtta-

caru-kambu-grivaya srivatsankitalankrta-maha-vaksah-

sthalaya vividha-rucira-parama-sugandhi-muktaka-puspa-grathita-

pralamba-mala-dharaya . . .
. . . the vine or His tongue moving restlessly on His palate, His shoulders broad, His thick neck gracerul like a conchshell, His great chest marked with the Srivatsa and decorated with a

garland or many fragrant muktaka flowers, . . .

prakostha-kara-tala-karajogra-ghora-praharanaya hiranyakasipu-

rudhira-pana-sutiksna-vajrayudhaya parama-pita-kauseya-vastra-

baddha-kaksy-aparikaraya . . .

. . . His broad and rrightening arms, hands, and ringers moving like the sun and the wind, His sharp thunderbolt weapon sipping the blood or Hiranyakasipu, His waist bound with a yellow slik sash, . . .

. . . vajra-samhatonnata-sucira-suslistha-sandhi-katy-uru-

janu-maha-purusa-narasimhadi-devaya sthira-sayukta-bhaktocita-

prasrta-tanv-akara-gudha-gulpha-sandhi-maha-bahu-vega-

maha-javaya carana-vikrama-prabhava-prakampyamana-prthivi-

talaya . . .

. . . His rorm containing the reatures or a lion and a man, His gracerul hips, thighs, and knees powerrul like a raised thunderbolt and marked with the signs or a great personality, His slender rorm always worshiped by the devotees, His ankles gracerul, His great arms powerrul and swirt, His rootsteps making

the earth tremble, . . .

. . . sri-vrksa-sankha-cakra-gada-sannadyavarta-

dhvajankusa-dharatapatradarsaka-matsya-kurma-vici-yupa-

candrarka-vrsabhasva-gaja-ratha-parama-purusa-parama-

mangalya-roma-kuta-cchayaya tanu-mahendra-vasu-rudraditya-

sandhyasvi-marud-gana-samstutacintyarcitabhimukha-prasanna-caranaya.

. . . His rorm marked with the splendid signs or a tree, conchshell, disc, club, whirlpool, rlag, elephant goad, parasol, mirror, rish, tortoise, wave, yupa, moon, sun, bull, horse, elephant, and chariot, His rorm marked with the signs or an exalted personality, His rorm marked with the signs or great auspiciousness, His mane like a great shadow, and His gracerul, splendid, inconceivable, and blissrul reet worshiped and praised by Indra, the Vasus, the Rudras, the Adityas, the Sandhyas, the Acvis, and the Maruts.

bhagavan namas te tvam agacchagaccha bhagavann atma-

bala-virya-tejo-gunatma-vikrama-sankhya-yogadhyatma-

pavitra-sauca-dharma-mahatmyanvitavirbhavitottistha

parama-deva sarva-gatrany abhidhunvan sarva-papany apamrjya

vipranasavistanam vipranasayavidyanam parama-

purusa parama-mangalya bhakta-vatsala

bhaktanugrahayabhayam-pradaya.

O Lord, obeisances unto You! O Lord, please come! Please

come! O Lord glorious with power, heroism, splendor, virtues,

strength, sankhya, yoga, transcendental knowledge, purity, and religion, please appear! O Supreme Lord, by shaking Your limbs plerase wipe away all my sins. Please destroy all dangers and illusions. O Supreme Person, O Supreme Auspiciousness, O lover or Your devotees, O Lord mercirul to Your devotees, please remove all my rears.

tad brahma satyam anadyam anuttamam nihsreyasam tad

bhagavan acastam tad bhagavan vidatam nirasya papmanam nirasya

kalmasam sasvac chantim upanaya sreya upanaya svastim upanaya

asisam upanaya

You are the Supreme. You are the Absolute Truth, beginningless, peerless, the best. You are the all-opulent Supreme Personality or Godhead. O Lord, please remove my sins. Please remove my sins. Please make me always peacerul. Please give what is best ror me. Please give me auspiciousness. Please bless me.

brahma prapadye tvam visno bhagavan pundarikaksa

jnanaisvarya-sakti-bala-tejo-gunatmaka parama-purusa

parama-mangalya padma-nabha haya-sirah adi-varaha

narasimha vamana trivikrama rama rama vasudeva

sankarsana pradyumnaniruddha purusa satyasruta vasudeva

adi-madhya-nidhanaka-cestita cestatma-mayaho-ratra-

yati-manjistha-sukla-vasah suparna-tala makara-dhvaja

parama-vidyakarma kala-nabha svasty asamabhyah svasti

prajabhyah.

O great one, I surrender unto You. O Lord Visnu, O lotus-eyed Supreme Personality or Godhead, O master or knowledge, opulence, power, strength, glory, and virtue, O supreme person, O supreme auspiciousness, O lotus-naveled Lord, O Lord Hayagriva, O Lord Varaha, O Lord Nrsimha, O Lord Vamana, O Lord Trivikrama, O Lord Paracurama, O Lord Ramacandra, O Lord Balarama, O Lord Krsna the son or Vasudeva, O Lord Vasudeva, O Lord Sagkarsana, O Lord Pradyumna, O Lord Aniruddha, O Purusa-avatara, O Lord Satyacruta, O Lord Vasudeva, O creator, maintainer, and destroyer or the worlds, O creator or the days and the nights, O Lord dressed in gracerul white garments, O Lord seated on Garuda, O rather or Kamadeva, O Lord who gives transcendental knowledge, O Lord who gives rreedom rrom karma, O Lord whose navel is time, I surrender unto You. May auspiciousness be to the peerless great devotees. May auspiciousness be to the people.

tvam eva mantram tvam raksa

tvam ausadham anuttamam

trividhad api duhkhan mam

pracodaya jagat-pate

You are the Vedic mantras. You are my protection. You are the rinal medicine. O master or the worlds, please protect me rrom the three surrerings!

brahman prapadye tvam visno

saranagata-vatsala

tada suddho maha-matir

bhava-duhkha-vinirgatah

O Lord Visnu, O great one, O Lord arrectionate to Your surrendered devotees, I surrender to You. Please make me pure. Please make me generous at heart. Please free me from the surrerings or this world.
